While Kiza comes off somewhat defensive and harsh at first, she's actually quite caring. She puts a lot of silent effort into assuring those around her are doing well, not usually seeking recognition or compensation for that. She's a true southern belle under the sass. Kiza doesn't want to care about anyone; the abandonment issues run deep.Kiza makes an effort to keep her personal life personal and will only open up to a few of those around her. She likes to keep things transactional when she's able to. Running a business helping down on their luck demons fix their devices if they can't afford to replace them with new Vox tech. Also spoilers up to current releases!Originally born as Kyra in the Wrath Ring, her mother disappeared when she was young - leaving the farm to only her father and herself. As Kyra grew up, her father became more and more demanding towards her. She was left with both farm work, house work and on top of that; ensuring her father didn't drink himself to death. It was a constant struggle of working all day and taking care of him most of the evenings/nights.One thing she had taken comfort in was the circus. More specifically the Imp Circus that performed at Loo Loo Land. Her earliest memory is her mother taking her to see the clowns perform when she was young. Her favorite act was easily Fizzarolli. There was something so bright about his smile; it made her feel like everything was going to be okay.While her father refused to take her to such a place, Kyra would sometimes run away for an evening, taking a long train ride from Wrath to watch the shows. Watching the clowns perform always made her smile even when things were tough at home. Kyra would walk in to the tent ready to cry, and walk out with a smile.When she was doing this once, she was accidentally picked up by Paimon's assistants who carelessly mistook her for Blitzo, bringing her to Stolas as a new friend. This resulted in a lifelong friendship, the imp often visiting Stolas when she could without speaking a word of it to her father. Her father would have viewed such a thing as a bit of a disgrace. He reluctantly respected royals and would treat them with the mannerisms of a peasant to a King, but held a deep disdain and distrust for them.But she also did not share her hardships at home to Stolas, either. Explaining any injuries and bruises away with just rough housing or living on a farm.Even as things at home were beginning to get worse and Stolas was being busied by royal things... she'd met a guy who seemed eager to give her a hand taking care of the farm and her father.. The two quickly fell in love and he was her escape from her chaotic home life.Striker was a rough n tumble type but swept Kyra off her feet. Though, his disdain for royals was much worse than her fathers. Which made her refrain from telling him about her friendship with Stolas. Striker provided Kyra with what felt like a safety net. Someone she could rely on to catch her if things got tough.Until, he'd simply walked out; left town without a single word of explanation... not even a goodbye. Kyra was absolutely crushed by this abandonment, and considering her mother had left (something which her father blamed her for), she felt there was no reason to get attached to anyone if they were just going to leave or hurt her in the end.She was still rather young, late teens/super early 20s, when her father raised his hand to her for what would be the last time. Her prospective lover had left so suddenly without a word and quite suddenly... Kyra finally had had enough of her father. Using one of his own guns to end his life. While she wasn't proud of this; she was glad to finally be free.But that was her breaking point. It was time to start completely fresh.Kyra changed her name to Kiza, moved to Pentagram City from Wrath leaving everything behind. Only bringing what she could carry; weapons, a few trinkets that were once her mother's, and all the cash she could find in the tiny farmhouse she called home. Of course, a plush of Robo Fizz that she'd gotten. Never looking back and getting some relatively honest work running her own repair business after spending weeks forcing herself to learn how to work Vox's smaller tech such as phones and tablets.Stealing some cash, she managed to buy a building in Pentagram City. Nothing special, but a small shop with a little apartment upstairs. She lives and works there. Considering it is an Imp-Owned business, Kiza does face a lot of critics... including a lot of break-ins. This prompted her to be good at working with security systems. While she can handle her business being broken into (not that she likes it), she cannot STAND her actual personal space being invaded. She has and will not hesitate to kill to keep her home safe.While the show at Fizzarolli 'n Friends isn't the same these days, she still makes an effort to see the show as often as she can and it still gives her a place to escape to. She also watches all of Fizz's performances she's able to online from home.She has been single since her ex left her and plans to remain that way until someone special comes along- provided that someone can change her mind about these things. Her abandonment issues run deep.She lost touch with Stolas; not really aiming to rejoin a friendship that was difficult to keep up due to society and everything else that kept them apart. Despite living in Pride, she had managed to avoid seeing him for a long while. Even with this; she did still miss his friendship, even sometimes regretting not reaching out.When she took on a security job that was offered at basically random by a customer of hers; Kiza landed herself right at Stolas' home for his 'Still Not Divorced' Party. She made an effort to avoid talking to him; unsure what to say or how to apologize for not reaching out sooner. Considering she still remembered the layout well, she was able to do so for most of the night. Until he eventually spotted and caught up to her, prompting a slow, awkward, but meaningful reconnection between them.While she may complain and whine about her job, and poke jokes at herself. And despite still healing from her past and wanting to eventually find someone that's right for her, Kiza is, at her core, happy right where she is for now.
